Diwali Celebrations – October 19th, 2017

The festival of lights, Diwali is celebrated with full vigor and enthusiasm all over the World. Sri Lakshmi puja is one of the important rituals performed during the festival of Diwali, and this is performed to invite Goddess Lakshmi. Let us all gather to celebrate this traditional "Festival of Lights" and offer our prayers to Goddess Lakshmi. Diwali falls on a dark moon night which is then illuminated with the shine of earthen diyas and lamps. This festival is devoted to the praise and worship of Goddess Lakshmi, goddess of wealth and luster. In her honor, Lakshmi Puja is performed religiously during the evenings, generally after sunset.
