Lord Panchmukhi Ganesha Prana Pratishtha

Maine Hindu Temple invites community with family and friends to celebrate Lord Panchmukhi Ganesha Prana Pratishtha celebration, which is a final step of consecrating Lord Panchmukhi Ganesha in MHT. The Prana Pratishtha celebration is taking place on Saturday, 9th Jan 2016 from 10.30 am until 1.30 pm. Shri Lakshmanan Shashtri will perform the Prana Pratishtha, a rite by which idol Panchmukhi Ganesha is consecrated in the Maine Hindu temple, wherein hymns and mantra are recited to invite the deity to be a resident guest, and bring the numinous presence of divinity and spirituality, as well infuse life into the temple. Sponsorship is welcome and the community members are encouraged to receive divine’s blessing by the sponsorship and participations. Lord Panchmukhi Ganesha Prana Pratishtha Program details:
  • 10.30 - 12.00 : Ganpathy pooja followed by punyaha vachanam followed by kalasa sthapan and 16 upachara pooja, ankurarpanam,  pratisara bandhan, raksha bandham, mrtsangrahanam, Moola mantra  homam/havan, panchagavya melan, pachangavya suddhi and Bimba suddhi followed naadi sandhan, nedronmeelan, sparsharhuti, maha purnasuti, kalasodyapam
  • 12.00 - 12.15 Prana Pratishtha
  • 12.15 - 1.30  Maha abishekam
All the community members are encouraged to participate in Lord Panchmukhi Ganesha Prana Pratishtha and bring flowers and Prasad for the grand event. We are looking forward to seeing you at Prana Pratishtha. We need volunteers to help us with the events. Matching Funds and Year-end Donations

On behalf of MHT board, I would like to thank all the donors for your contribution in the year 2015.  All your financial support helps MHT to continue in its mission to operate and develop Hindu Temple in our community. I am delighted to share the great news that an anonymous donor and a great supporter of MHT donated $10,000 towards rehabilitating MHT assets and improvising services. MHT needs your help to reach our fundraising efforts!  If anyone is interested in making a donation, please contact MHT board members or drop off your donations during MHT opening hours. As a donor, this is a great opportunity to earn divine blessings while saving on taxes. MHT Board members are already committed to join the matching donation. This is a very noble cause, please pledge as soon as possible and spread the word to MHT community. As you all know, MHT is a nonprofit organization exempt from federal income tax under category 501(c) (3) and all donations are tax-deductible. Panchmukhi Ganesha – Dhanyam Shayanam

As part of Lord Panchmukhi Ganesha Pranapratistha preparations, the Dhanyam Shayanam is taking place on 12th Dec at 10.30 am and runs until 3rd Jan. The community and friends are invited to join for the Dhanyam Shayanam. During the Dhanya Shayanam Lord Panchmukhi Ganesha is covered with the rich Dhanyam nuts like Almonds, Cashew nut, Coconut, Walnut, Pecans and dry fruits for 21 days. Sponsorship is welcome and the community members are encouraged to receive divine's blessing by donating Dhanyam.
