Guru Poornima (7/8)

MHT is celebrating auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima which falls on Saturday the July 8th of this year according to Drik Panchang and entire MHT community is cordially invited for celebrating Guru Poornima. Program details: 09.00 AM - 10.00 AM - Baba Abhishekam and Alankaram 10.00 AM - 10:15 AM - Saibaba Ashtothram 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM - Bhajans 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM - Nivedyam and Aarti 11:30 AM onwards prasadam distribution and cleaning Evening Aarti 06:30 PM - 07:30 PM - Evening Aarti and prasadam distribution All devotees are requested to bring prasadam, flowers, and fruits for the above events. We also need volunteers for making this event successful. MHT clean up: 07/15[Saturday] MHT is planning to clean up entire premise and fix many items that needs immediate attention like grouting, painting, fixing broken tiles, inventory pooja and kitchen items. We need volunteers for carrying out these activities. MHT also plans to hold preparation meeting on 7/13 during Thursday bhajan. MHT upcoming June/July events

MHT would like to thank you for your continued support. Below is an update on the upcoming June/July MHT events HANUMAN CHALISA PARAYAN: 06/24 – Saturday Hanuman Chalisa was composed by legendary poet Tulsidas who was also an ardent devotee of Lord Rama. It has 40 poetic verses, hence the name ‘Chalisa.’ It is widely believed that Hanuman Chalisa has some sort of clandestine divinity associated with it. Anybody can recite the godly 40 verses, irrespective of the age. shrīguru charana saroja raja nija mana mukuru sudhāri। baranau raghubara bimala jasu jo dāyaku phala chāri॥ buddhihīna tanu jānikai sumirau pavanakumāra। bala budhi bidyā dehu mohi harahu kalesa bikāra॥ Program details: 09.00 AM - 09:30 AM – Pooja Sankalpam 09:30 AM - 12:00 PM – Hanuman Chalisa chanting – 40 Times 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM – Ashtothram (With Betel Leaves & Flowers) & Aarti 12:30 PM - 01:30 PM – Prasad distribution and Cleaning. These are the many benefits of reading the Hanuman Chalisa on a regular basis and hope it will help you to live a better live and do away with all your troubles.   • Community giving campaign towards priest acquisition: As MHT kicked off this very important initiative and more than 2 dozen individual signed up and we are still looking for same amount of individuals to sign up. Please consider making a contribution by clicking through the donation/pledge form. Aparna Basani volunteered to lead the donation/pledge campaign towards priest acquisition. MHT wants to personally thank all of you who have committed to pledge in this campaign.
  • Baba Anniversary ornaments acquisition:  It is nice to have ornaments acquired before Baba's anniversary, so please consider making a contribution towards this effort. Sakuntala volunteered to lead the donation/pledge campaign towards ornament acquisition. MHT wants to personally thank all of you who have committed to pledge in this campaign.
For those of you who have not yet contributed, MHT hopes you will consider pledging in doing whatever you can to help maintain and acquire priest at Maine Hindu Temple. Other MHT initiatives BalaGokulam for kids/Spiritual learning for adults -Sunday Ages   : Kids well as adults. Those who are interested in signing up their kids please do so as soon as possible. Adults can join spiritual learning and discussions too. MHT Wellness (Adults) - Sunday MHT will conduct Zumba for its members towards wellness program. A nominal fee will be charged for BalaGokulam and MHT Wellness program. Please contact Neelima for the fees and the exact schedule Donate supplies MHT needs pooja material for daily as well as for the Thursday Bhajan. MHT also needs kitchen material for prasadam distribution. MHT appreciates generous donation towards supplies. Sri Rama Navami Celebration

MHT is celebrating 2017 Divine Kalyanam of Sri Sita Rama on Saturday, 8th April 2017. Our Priest Pradeep sharma is coming from Boston to perform the Kalyan Mahostav.
