Opening Up Maine Hindu Temp

MHT is  planning to open up the temple with a limited capacity of maximum 20 devotees at any time later in June and plan to solicit feedback from the community for opening up the temple safely. In the meanwhile, we would like to open up MHT for volunteers on Jun 11th for the Thursday Aarti with a maximum capacity of 10 on a first come first served basis. The enrollment and confirmation is a must for the Thursday Aarti. In order to prevent community spread of COVID-19 and for the safety of members, volunteers and the board, anyone who is entering the MHT premise must comply with CDC and State of Maine COVID-19 safety guidelines. MHT greatly appreciates your co-operation and support in following the below guidelines. ⦁    If you or any member in your family are sick or showing any symptom of illness, we ask you to stay home and postpone your visit to the temple to a future date ⦁    All members and devotees must use hand sanitizer or wash hands with soap thoroughly before entering the temple ⦁    All members and devotees must wear a mask or face covering, except kids under 2 years of age. No devotees will be allowed into the temple without a mask and absolutely no exceptions ⦁    Children must strictly stay with their parents or family members all the times and no exceptions ⦁    All members and devotees must follow social distancing very strictly and maintain 6 feet distances  at all times ⦁    All members and devotees must comply with the  guidelines laid out by CDC and Maine state government ⦁    All members and devotees must not touch Dias, idols, walls or any objects within the temple premises. MHT runs on volunteer basis and do not have resources to constantly clean up ⦁    Only Fruits can be brought in for offering as Neivedyam MHT cannot afford to put their members at risk and reserves the right to deny the temple access to anyone who does not follow the above guidelines. MHT also reserves the right to modify the COVID-19 safety guidelines at any time without giving any reason and the above guidelines are effective until further notice. MHT, volunteers or MHT board will not be responsible for Covid -19  liability related to your temple visit, so members entering the temple must agree to take care of the COVID-19 safety precautions and follow the guidelines. Please donate masks, hand sanitizer, Disinfecting wipes and other cleaning products and consider volunteering to clean up the temple, opening up and general clean up for the next member entering the temple. MHT is low on funds and looking for generous donors to support and help with the planned activities. As always, we need volunteers for running the temple and any help is greatly appreciated. MHT is grateful to the continued support provided by the members. Please email info@mainehindutemple.org or call (207) 370-0475 if anyone needs more details or clarification Sincerely, MHT Board
